This ancient herb oil, used by Hippocrates, the father of medicine, has a warm, sweet, spicy aroma, similar to Ginger, with a woody yet floral balsamic undertone. Cardamon is a reedlike herb with long, blade-shape leaves and yellowish flowers & purple tips, ripening into oblong seed pods. The Cardamon oil is distilled from the seeds and is imported from South and Central America. The Cardamon Oil has been used is traditional Chinese medicine for over 3,000 years. It is extensively used as a fragrance component in soaps, cosmetics and perfumes, especially oriental type perfumes.
